Lincoln Title and Settlment Services, LLC is a locally owned title insurance agency providing title insurance services and real estate settlements in the Hagerstown and surrounding area. We have a friendly, trained, professional staff that is committed to providing you with a pleasant settlement experience.
Launched in 2006 by attorneys Kent N. Oliver and G. Clair Baker, Jr., Lincoln Title was originally formed as an extension of the real estate settlement work being done through Miller, Oliver, Baker, Moylan & Stone. The Company gained new customers while serving loyal customers. In 2009, Mr. Baker left Lincoln Title after being appointed the Family Magistrate for the Circuit Court of Washington County. Elizabeth Bryan, a settlement officer with Lincoln Title since its beginning, became a partner in 2011. Originally specializing in Washington and Frederick Counties in Maryland, Franklin County, Pennsylvania was recently added to the Company’s service area.

Elizabeth F.Z. Bryan – Settlement Officer and Owner of Lincoln Title & Settlement Services
Elizabeth F.Z. Bryan has been working with Lincoln Title since 2006 and has over 15 years experience in the title insurance and real estate settlements industry. She is currently licensed as a title insurance agent in the State of Maryland and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is an agent of The Security Title Guarantee Corporation of Baltimore.
In 2002, Elizabeth graduated from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She worked as a real estate paralegal with law firm of Hirschler Fleischer in Fredericksburg, Virginia before joining Lincoln Title. Elizabeth has been directly involved in hundreds of real estate settlements and has extensive experience in both residential and commercial transactions.
Elizabeth resides in Waynesboro with her husband, Jeremy, and their four children.

Kent N. Oliver – Owner of Lincoln Title & Settlement Services
Kent has been a practicing attorney in the State of Maryland since 1974 and has over 40 years experience in writing title insurance and performing real estate settlements. He has been an agent with the Security Title Guarantee Corporation of Baltimore since 1978.
Kent graduated from John Hopkins University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. From there, Kent attended law school at the University of Baltimore School of Law and received Juris Doctor law degree in 1974. While at the University of Baltimore, he was a member of the Heuisler Honor Society. Kent was admitted to the U.S. District Court of Maryland in 1981, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit in 1982 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1989. In addition to his duties with Lincoln Title, Kent also currently practices law in the areas of administrative, commercial, zoning, planning, land use, business, and real estate.
Kent currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the YMCA and Board of Directors for the Brethren Mutual Insurance Company. Kent is a member of the Washington County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. Kent was born and raised in Washington County, Maryland and continues to reside in Hagerstown with his wife of 41 years, Kathy.
